Even the lake has frozen!

It’s not just our hot water pipe and the blood in our veins that have frozen, the lake by our house has turned to ice too…

  2. Just!!!!! I am starting to lose my fighting spirit!

  3. I wont be swimming in that today then..the offer still stands if you want to spend the pm in warmth, come visit, rich can work here!

  4. Ah go on, get your wetsuit on and come for a dip! See, there’s a little hole in the middle of the lake just for you to get in… :)

The end is in sight now, oil coming tomorrow so we’re soldiering onm but thanks again for the offer, really appreciate it.

  5. I’ve never known it so cold here before! Have you had the fuel delivered yet?You certainly have my sympathies…
Lovely picture again…you seem to capture some beautiful skies.
    Keep jumping up and down!
    Sarah

  6. Thanks Sarah, the one good thing about the winter is the opportunity for taking some nice photos. Winter skies on frosty mornings are great :)

Oil delivery is tomorrow “some time”, so we’re still jumping up and down for a bit longer!

  7. But surely it’s always sunny and warm in south-west France? I’m sure somebody told me that. Or is it that you are north of the Loire? :-)

  8. Haha, yes that’s what we thought too. We’re thinking of putting a complaint to the Conseil General! South of the Loire, we should expect wall-to-wall sun and ice creams all year round… Must be something to do with the credit crunch… :)
