I have a holiday home about an hour drive south of the airport and looking at leaving my car either at the airport or nearby and then coming out on the new VLM service for long weekends throughout the summer. From Nantes to La Rochelle is just over an hour, so you could be there in time for bread and cheese at lunchtime!
