I know that you have other priorities and this site is not your major concern, but I'm sorry to say that since I signed up for e-mail notification of anything new there has not been anything. Is this my fault? I am a facinated reader of other peoples' blogs and have, as yet, not gone down the Facebook/Twitter route. I can only hope that all is well on the family, animal and work front and that soon it may be back to normal. Perhaps it's just too hot to sit at the keyboard!
Come back soon....

Hi Richard

Alan and I have watched the video of the owl, we are sure its a"Little owl", not a small owl but a "Little Owl". Its the smallest of European owls. We have looked through our bird books and are quite sure thats what it is. We will confirm this when we come to stay.I think Charlie and Lola would love to invite him FOR dinner and thats why he is aggresive towards them, they are a threat.
Enjoy your extended holiday and make the most of the wonderful Vendee weather.
Love to all
Lynn & Alan
